SO. C/OF Nathan Ling (Rockford Lutheran) looks to be a big contributor for the Golden Eagles following a freshman campaign in which he hit .300 in 50 ABs. Starting the day running a 6.76 60-yard, Ling followed this up with a loud round of batting practice in which he achieved a peak exit velocity of 98.4 mph and an average exit velocity of 87.6 mph. A serviceable utility man, Ling showcased athleticism in the outfield with a strong arm to pair, up to 90 mph from the outfield as well as achieving a pop time range of 1.92-2.00. Strong returner who looks to play a big role this spring.
