Positional Profile: SS/2B
Body: 5-foot-9, 155-pounds. Athletic, well-proportioned.
Hit: RHH. Tall, open setup. Smooth load, short stride, engages lower half, good balance through contact.  Fast hands, quality approach at the plate, short, level path through the zone, consistently found the barrel in batting practice.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Quick on his feet, soft hands, secures the baseball, clean exchange from glove to hand. Accurate on his throws, athletic in the field, confident in himself.
Run: 7.31 runner in the 60. 


5-foot-9, 150+-pound frame, continues to add useable strength, looks bigger than listed size, athletic actions. Has perhaps the best defensive actions for an uncommitted shortstop in the IL 2020 class, fluid, natural actions, ranges with ease, sure handed with a quick and clean exchange to release, arm plays out of multiple slots with accuracy and occasional carry. Continues to get better on the infield, can play up the middle.

Body: 5-foot-9, 150-pounds. Thin, yet athletic build.
Hit: RHH. Open, tall and relaxed setup, minimal load with a short stride. Short, level barrel path, line drive production to the middle of the field, overall simple swing with fluid rhythm through contact..
Power: 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. 
Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Short, loose arm action, athletic and clean multi-angle slot, showed accuracy with carry across the diamond.
Defense: Smooth, natural actions with body control, fluid footwork with ranging ability, quick and clean exchange to release, pays through the athletically.
Run: 7.34 runner in the 60. 


Unsigned junior. 5-foot-9, 150-pound middle infielder, wiry and athletic frame, seems to have tacked on 5-10 pounds of muscle over the last couple months . Led off and played shortstop for the Indians. His defensive ability is worth noting first, smooth athletic actions, ranges with ease to both sides, clean transfer to release, multi-slot arm, feel for the dirt. Shows signs of being able to stick on the left side and up the middle, arm plays average across, quick to release. Works two QAB’s with nothing to show going 0-for-4 reaching on an error by the second baseman. Showed an all fields approach making outs to all fields, pitched to outer third mostly, went with the pitch. Handsy hitter, barrel control type, level path with loose hands, regularly on top of the baseball. 4.35 and 4.40 on his grounders to the right side, easy strides.

2/10/19 - 5-foot-9, 150-pound, well-proportioned, right-handed hitting infielder. Natural middle infield defender. Moves with confidence and pace to his game. Light on his feet, quick first step, ranges well to both sides and maintains body control. Soft sure hands, plays through the baseball with extremely quick release. Loose, athletic arm action, can throw from any angle and throws were accurate across the diamond, topping at 78 mph. Offensively, balanced setup, short stride and maintains balance through contact. Simple swing, level bat path, line-drive approach, uses the middle of the field and fluid rhythm throughout. 86 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.28 laser-timed 60.

10.14.18 - 5-foot-9, 150-pound infielder lean athletic frame. Actions play smooth on the infield, hands are soft and clean fluid exchange, actions play through the baseball. Arm works athletically from multiple slots, high ¾ slot, accurate across the diamond, flashed carry, 77 mph. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride gets even. Simple approach, barrel control hitter, level path, line drive hitter, on time. 83 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.35 runner in the 60.

8.9.18 - 5-foot-9, 140-pound, right-handed hitting infielder, wiry, athletic frame. At the plate, open setup, minimal load, short stride, quiet pre-pitch. Level, compact bat path, line drive ability, thinks middle of the field, exit velocity topped 82 mph from a tee. Barreled a single to right field and  lined another to left in-game, 4.62 on the turn. Defensively, feet work in rhythm, fields in stride with soft hands, exchanges are quick and clean. Short, loose, athletic arm action, high ¾ slot, throws topped 77 mph across the diamond. 7.36 runner in the 60.

2.19.18 - 5-foot-9, 145-pound, athletically built, infielder. At the plate, right-handed hitter, open, athletic setup, stride gets back to even and maintains balance through contact. Fluid rhythm, simple swing, minimal wasted movement, stays short to the ball, uses the middle of the field, line-drive approach; 79 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, natural infield actions, plays under control, fluid footwork. Soft, sure hands, athletic fielding position, clean transfer and made the run through play look easy. Athletic arm action, ability to throw from multiple arm angles, throws clocked at 79 mph across the diamond. 7.39 runner in the 60, laser-timed.  

7.14.17 - 5-foot-9, 130-pound right-handed hitting infielder with a lanky frame. Tall, balanced, open setup at the plate with fluid rhythm. Short, uphill swing path with loose hands and a fast bat. Long strides on the base paths. Drove an RBI single to left field in game. Defensively has athletic actions with a quick transfer. Strong accurate throws on the turn. Can play on the run. Plays with confidence.
