In their 9-0 win over Shepard, he went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs, a run scored and a walk. He went a perfect 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, three RBIs, three runs scored, a walk and a stolen base in their 13-6 win over Stagg.
Uncommitted, 5-foot-10, 190-pound catcher. Currently ranked No. 107 in the Illinois’ 2023 class. Left-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance, leg-kick timing trigger; sits on back leg during load and transfers weight into an athletic position to hit. Minimal hand movement pre-pitch, utilizes his lower half. Simple overall swing, strong hands, uphill bat path with a knack for the barrel and hard contact.
