Delivery: Slight drop/drive lower-half, works in-line with front foot landing closed, creates a notable amount of extension down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm-circle into an over-the-top slot.
FB: T82.6, 81.6-82.3 mph. Rides through the zone with arm-side life, tough angle for hitters.  T2024, 1920 average rpm.
CB: 63.3-64.8 mph. Gradual 11/5 shape.  T2157, 2052 average rpm.
CH: 67.3-68.4 mph. Thrown with intent, natural fading action.  T1386, 1314 average rpm.

RHP Owen Hobbs (Champaign Central ,2023) catches your attention before he even steps onto the mound, standing at an ultra-projectable 6-foot-5, 170-pounds. The tall right-hander moves down the mound with a slight drop/drive lower-half, creating a tremendous amount of extension at his release point. From a straight over-the-top slot, Hobbs creates a tough angle for would-be hitters with his fastball; riding through the zone with arm-side life and topping out at 83 mph. He then went to an 11/5 curveball at 64-65 mph and fading changeup to round out his three-pitch mix, showing developing feel for both offerings.

Body: 6-2, 140-pounds. Lean lanky frame.
Delivery: Tall/fall type, long stride, works in line to target, lands square, shoulders work slightly uphill. Starts with a rear leg load out of stretch.
Arm Action: RH. Long action, high 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T77, 75-76 mph. Plays straight, flashed the ability to throw downhill, consistent strikes.
CB: 57-60 mph. 11/5 shape, gradual action, big change in speed.
SL: 63-67 mph. Small shape, cutter like, occasional strikes.
CH: 65-67 mph. Flashed sink, plays to glove-side of plate.
