6/14/12 Fletcher is an athletic 5-foot-11, 155-pound middle infielder who displayed excellent defensive skills. Fletcher exhibited soft hands up the middle and looked smooth going to his backhand. He had accurate throws across the diamond, showing good carry (79 mph). Offensively, Fletcher exhibited a short, compact line drive swing. Additionally, Fletcher ran a 7.15 60.
Fletcher ran one of the best 60 times of the day with a 6.97. In the field, Fletcher flashed solid hands and footwork while moving through the ball. Fletcher’s hands and feet worked well together while fielding the ball out front. Offensively, Fletcher showed some bat speed and a short path to the ball while staying balanced throughout his swing.
