6/14/12 Kametas is a 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed pitcher who showcased a consistent 85-87 mph fastball that topped at 88 mph. He impressed with his off-speed pitches, including a sharp-breaking curveball with two-plane break that sat at 73-75 mph. Additionally, Kametas threw a 75-76 mph changeup with late sink and run.

Unknown heading into the event, Kametascertainly made a big name for himself, and in the process established himself as one of the top right-handed prospects in the Class of 2013.
