Transferred to Waubonsee CC (IL) from TCU.

5/18/17 -

Committed to TCU. Lean muscular medium framed with wide shoulders and a trim waist. Throws from a low 3/4 slot and is across his body with a closed off landing and rotates off to the third base side. Long arm action with a stab and hooks behind the back with recoil at times. Repeats it with some effort. Fastball is sneaky fast at 84-89 mph settling in at 84-86mph. Throws it to both sides of the plate and does a good job throwing it for strikes, will elevate it when ahead in the count. Kept his fastball velocity for the whole game and got a lot of swings and misses. At best breaking ball has a slider look to it when on top and gets some depth. Threw a couple of straight change with good arm speed. Aggressive approach and goes after hitters with his fastball. Works at a quick pace and keeps a good tempo on the mound. Went 6.2 innings and had 16 K’s.

4.11.16 - 6-foot, 190-pound, right-handed pitcher with a solid, strong lower half. Delivery, has rhythm, level shoulders at balance point, lands slightly open but stays on-line. Long, clean arm action, out of a ¾ slot. Fastball lacked command at times, struggled with release point; arm-side-run and sinking action to the arm side, flattened out when up in the zone or glove side, clocked at 83-85 mph, touching 87 once. Curveball, average feel, 11/5 action, arm speed fluctuated, when thrown aggressively, flashed sharpness and depth, 68-73 mph. Only saw one changeup 77 mph.

1st Team All State: Going into the year there was no doubt Eiermann possessed talent, but the sophomore left-handed stepped into the ace role for the Redhawks, exceeding expectations and impressing with a surgical approach to pitching. Eiermann opened the season with a 54-inninng unearned run streak, finishing the year 8-1 with a 0.56 ERA, 114 strikeouts in 75.2 innings pitched, with only 11 walks. The Texas Christian-commit was also named the DuPage Valley Conference Player of the Year (shared with Glenbard North’s Eric Orze), and his only loss came in the sectional semifinals in extra innings to Plainfield North. His 114 strikeouts are good for third all-time in the Naperville Central single-season record book.

2.16.15 - 6-foot, 180-pound, left-handed pitcher with a strong, athletic build. Works from a ¾ arm angle. Displays a short, stiff arm action, toe up at balance point. Closed shoulders thru delivery, and crossfire action, creating a tough angle for hitters. Fastball flashed run and sat 84-85 mph. Curveball showed side to side sweeping action and sat 72-74 mph. Changeup misses armside while flashing some run at 75-76 mph. High ceiling on the mound.

12.14.14 - 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed pitcher ranked No. 29 in the state. Eiermann showed off improved velocity this weekend with an 83-85 mph fastball, up from the 80-82 mph he displayed this fall. The southpaw works across his body, landing closed creating a tough angle on hitters. Eiermann’s secondary offerings also improved, his 71-74 mph changeup was firmer, although he still slows his arm slightly on is 65-69 mph curveball. Eiermann’s cross-fire delivery and low ¾ arm slot could be conducive to a hard slider, especially since his fastball already displays hard cutting action to his glove side.

9.19.14 - 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed pitcher impressed with 80-82 mph fastball from low ¾ arm slot. Arm angle, and across his body delivery creates hard, late cutting action on fastball. Also throws 61-64 mph slurve, and 66-68 mph changeup. Beat the number one 15U team in the nation, the Georgia Jackets, this summer while pitching for Elite.
