The right-handed hitter was all over the barrel in BP, working with a simple and repeatable stroke that stays mostly flat through the zone, reaching up to 102.1 mph for his max EV with an average of 92 mph. Clean catch/throw operation behind the plate, reaching as low as 2.02 for his pop-time with a top velocity of 77 mph.  

Freshman. 6-foot, 195-pounds. The right-handed hitter has a simple swing at the plate with a flat path; reaching up to 98.8 for his max exit velocity and averaging 93 mph (368’ max distance; 301’ avg. distance). Behind the plate, Kelly has a quick/clean transfer and a strong arm; reaching up to 80 mph from the chute and producing a pop-time as low as 1.96 seconds.

Arm: RH. C - 80 mph. Short, over-the-top arm action, flashed carry.
Defense: 1.96-2.04 pop times. Sure-handed, presents pitches in and around the zone, clean out of the chute.

Body: 5-foot-11, 195-pounds. Thick, strong frame.
Delivery: Slow, methodical, tall and fall delivery; works with minimal effort and lands square.
Arm Action: RH. Clean, compact arm action, plays from an over-the-top slot.
FB: T87, 82-86 mph. Works straight, creates angle/tilt, showed control. T2221, 2160 average rpm.
CB: 69-71 mph. Thrown aggressively, sharp downer action at times, 12/6 shape. T2283, 2171 average rpm.

Hit: RHH. Balanced, wide setup, smooth load and toe-tap stride.  Athletic hands, fast bat, long path, works on top of the baseball. Consistent hard line-drive contact, worked the middle of the field and fluid rhythm throughout.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. 
Arm: RH. C - 74 mph. Short, loose arm action, over-the-top slot, consistently around the bag at second base and flashed carry.
Defense: 2.11-2.18 pop times. Sure-handed, fluid footwork, clean transfer.
