7/20/21

Cape Cod- Had a good first inning in our look, then lost his delivery in his second frame and didn't finish it. He had poor direction, landing cross body, with his hips going one way and his shoulders flying open the other. That led to below-average control, as he frequently missed armside with his 90-93 mph fastball with spin rates in the 2300s. Patel flashed an average 82-83 mph slider, but control was inconsistent. He also threw a split-change at 81 mph, 811 rpm.
