Flexible behind the plate, presents a low target, active, agile blocker. Soft, strong hands, quiet, sticks pitches in the zone. Arm is short and quick from an over-the-top slot with low effort in release; throws carry, stay true and consistently around the bag. Threw a runner out trying to steal second base, 2.12 in game pop time. Offensively, hit in the three-hole. Finished 1-for-1 with a walk and hit by pitch. His one hit was a sharply hit single up the middle. Flashed a short, quick bat.

3.16.17 - SIU-Edwardsville commit. Right-handed hitting catcher with an athletic, durable frame. Defensive minded catcher. Advanced receiver, soft hands, flexible behind the plate, presents low target. Stays quiet and receptive behind the plate, sticks pitches in the zone, agile blocker. Arm works short and over-the-top, throws carry, stayed true at times. Offensively, balanced, slightly closed setup, simple, short stroke, looks to control the barrel.
