As one of the state's most decorated hitters, Scott delivered another statistically phenomenal season. The senior blasted 13 homers, 12 doubles and tallied 48 RBI while batting .433. He walked 28 times and slugged at an .875 clip. Finished with 40 career home runs.

Made big impact on varsity as freshman: batted .426 with 32 RBI...The strong-bodied 5-foot-11, 185-pound catcher can flat-out hit. He showed explosive hands and bat speed at the plate with legitimate power potential that will certainly play at the next level. Scott is one of the better offensive prospects we've seen in the class. Defensively, Scott has a strong, accurate arm; his top pop time was 2.01

Has hit 19 home runs on varsity in two varsity seasons

Scott is clearly one of the best unsigned hitters in the Class of 2012. The solidly built 5-foot-11, 200-pounder takes an aggressive approach at the plate, using an explosive lower half and quick, athletic hands to hammer the baseball with backspin carry. Despite his aggressive approach, he maintains his balance throughout his swing. Scott continued to impress behind the plate, where he demonstrated concise footwork as he delivered accurate pop times all under 2.1, with a best blow of 2.02. From the crouch he was clocked 77 mph. Offensively, he sets up balanced and has an explosive lower half while maintaining balance throughout his entire swing with fast bat speed. Scott also ran a 7.26 60.
