Uncommitted. Projectable 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. Got the start for the Lions and emerged as a high-follow name in the state's freshman class. A loose mover down the mound working out of a stretch-only delivery, Cavaliere shows a compact arm stroke from a high ¾ slot with arm speed out front. His fastball sat 86-88 mph and touched 90 in the first inning before settling into the 85-89 mph range with armside run and swing-and-miss ability. His curveball sat 71-74 mph and flashed feel, showed depth and earned swings and misses. Line: W, 3.2 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 2 R, 1 ER, 7 K. A freshman arm to continue to watch as the spring continues.
