Lean, projectible build. 6-foot-3, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Started on the mound Friday morning against STARTERS 16U. Slow, methodical, tall/fall type delivery, tall balance point, level shoulders, works on a downhill plane in line with his target, square landing. Long arm action, over-the-top slot. Fastball touched 80 mph, sat between 77-79 mph with straight movement. Curveball played at 67-68 mph with 12/6 shape, showed feel for pitch. Offensively, works from a balanced setup, wide base, short stride. Level path to the baseball, simple swing with little-to-no moving parts, goes with the pitch, doesn’t try and do to much. Went 2-for-3 at the plate against STARTERS 16U with two singles and two RBIs.
