1.21.17 - Verbally committed to Lewis University.
10/9/16 - 6-foot-1, 165-pound, long and lean, left-handed pitcher. Delivery slightly coiled, drop and drive type, high front side, stays on-line, closed front foot and regular effort throughout. Long arm action from an over-the-top slot. Fastball, tilt, run and sink when down in the zone, sat 79-80 mph, touched 81, thrown for strikes. Feel for off-speed, tendency to leave up in the zone. Curveball, short break, 12/6 action, thrown for strikes and ranged between 65-68 mph. Changeup, fade action, 70-72 mph.

2/14/16 - Lanky thin frame, 6-foot-1, 155-pound left-handed pitcher, projectable build. Delivery works slightly across body, keeps front side closed, some deception. Arm action is hidden, comes out of short window, high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight run, 78-79 mph, touched 80 mph. Curveball has 1/7 action, gradual bend, near fastball arm speed, showed feel, average depth, consistently at 67 mph. Changeup showed good feel, thrown with arm speed, flashed fade action, 69-73 mph. Projectable lefty who showed three pitch feel.
1.18.15 - 6-foot, 155-pound lanky LHP sat 77-79 from a long, loose, high ¾ arm slot, easy effort, tall/fall delivery, smooth rhythm through delivery, shoulders stay level throughout, stays in line with home plate, land square. Showed feel for three pitches, 61-64 mph curveball was thrown for strikes, 1/7 shape. Also threw 63-65 mph changeup for strikes with sinking action, slows arm slightly. Talbot is extremely projectable and with his clean arm action as he fills out he could see a significant velocity bump.
