Showed explosive bat speed with a slightly uphill path. Consistently made strong contact with aggressive barrel whip. Exit velocity was 82 mph. Defensively showed athletic actions and fluid movements. Throws with solid arm strength and accuracy at 81 mph. Ran a 7.52 60. On the mound He throws from a ¾ slot with quick arm speed and a short, loose arm action. Fastball was 77-80 mph with run. Throws a curveball at 67-68 mph with short break. Throws a changeup with fastball arm speed, for strikes, at 70-73 mph with arm side run.

6.13.13 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound two-way prospect. Defensively, shows reliable hands with solid arm strength across the infield (77 mph across the infield). Offensively, hits from an athletic setup and is short and quick to the ball. Ran a 7.63 60. On the mound, works from high-3/4 slot with fastball that topped at 80 mph. Also throws a 60-62 mph curveball and a 69-71 changeup with some sink.

2/17/13 - Athletic frame with some length, 6-foot-1, 175-pound two way player. On the mound delivery is smooth and shows direction. Arm action is loose, ¾ arm slot. Fastball has sink 79-81 mph. Curveball was down, 68-70 mph. Change up sat 73-74 mph. Defensively showed effort fielding the baseball, arm showed accuracy, uses lower arm slot, 78 mph across the diamond. Offensively, hits with an open stance, uses short stride. Line drive approach, shows rhythm, good balance throughout, 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
