Yario finished the week 9-for-12 at the plate with two home runs, three doubles, and 12 RBI. On the mound against Streamwood, he pitched four innings and allowed zero earned runs on one hit while striking out four.

RHP Vince Yario (Bartlett, 2026) is an uncommitted arm that made his Prep Baseball event debut this past Monday. He worked out of a stretch-only delivery, showing a fastball that sat 83-84 mph, topping out at 84.8 mph while averaging 2454 rpm and 22.2 inches of horizontal movement. He produced quality fade on his upper-70s change-up, averaging 17.4 inches of horizontal movement. He mixed in both a slider and curveball, both playing with similar shape and quality spin. The slider averaged 2728 rpm, and his curveball averaged 2906 rpm, both event bests. Yario will be an arm to follow this spring and beyond.

Delivery: Stretch-only, high leg lift, calm gather, tall/fall works in-line.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose arm action, 3/4 slot.
FB: T85, 83-85 mph. Two-seam with heavy arm-side run and quality spin. T2602, 2454 average rpm.
CB: 73-74 mph. Short, 11/5 shape. T2950, 2906 average rpm.
SL: 74-76 mph. Tight, horizontal break. T2821, 2728 average rpm.
CH: 77-78 mph. Plays with heavy fade. T2011, 1914 average rpm.
