Delivery: Full windup, hands work overhead, tall and fall delivery, long stride, uses legs and weight efficiently, lands square to target, level shoulders.
Arm Action: RH. Long, quick arm action, high 3/4 arm slot.
FB: T85, 84-85 mph. Mostly straight, intent to throw at the top of the zone. T2450, 2386 average rpm.
CB: 71-74 mph. 11/5 shape, sharp action, depth. T2345, 2259 average rpm.

CB: 69-71 mph. 11/5 shape, gradual action. T2350, 2268 average rpm.
CH: 76-77 mph. Sink, advance arm side run, thrown for strikes. T1700, 1575 average rpm.

One of the more impressive bullpens on the day came from uncommitted 2022 RHP Waylon Deck (Homewood-Flossmoor). Deck has a strong, athletic, 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame and despite pitching primarily out of the stretch, showed an arsenal that could be fit for a starter moving forward. His arm plays clean and lively from a ¾ slot and he showed above-average feel for a four-pitch mix. The fastball jumped out of the hand at times, flashed carry through the zone and sat 84-86 mph, touching 87 (T2442 rpm). He also showed advanced feel for a mid-70s sinking changeup at the bottom of the zone and a late biting cutter that topped at 80 mph with a max spin rate of 2607 rpm. The curveball plays on an 11/5 plane, sat at 69-71 mph and spun at an average of 2268 rpm.

Uncommitted, currently ranked 107 in Illinois. 6-foot-1, 185-pound, athletically-built, slender, long-limbed right-handed pitcher.  Mainstay in the Viking starting pitching rotation the entire season because he competes on the mound and keeps the team in the game. Delivery works in line with the target, high ¾ slot, quick, loose arm action.  Ball jumps out of hand; features a 2-seam fastball with arm-side movement that tops out at 87mph.  Commands three quality offerings, curve 71-74mph, changeup 76-77mph, cutter 78-80mph. Follow upside 2022 right-handed pitcher.
