7.7.12
Jones possesses one of the purest left-handed swings in the state, which helped him finish with a .463 batting average this spring. He also talled 16 doubles, 6 triples, 2 homers, 40 runs, 29 RBI and 14 stolen bases. Signed at Northwestern.

Blessed with one of the purest left-handed swings in the class, Jones emerged as one of the Chicago-area's premier hitters as a junior. The athletically built Jones has an advanced plate approach, one that he used to bat .470 with 10 doubles and 34 RBI. Jones' offensive prowess was one of the main reasons why the Titans won the Central Suburban South championship. A 7.1 runner, Jones is also a top-level defensive first baseman.
