FR. OF/RHP Gavin O’Neil (Lake Park) 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame. Started the event running a 6.65 60-yard time, took a quality BP round, was on the barrel, spraying all around the field, peaked at 98 mph EV with an avg. of 90 mph. On the mound, O’Neil ran his fastball up to 89 mph, sat 87-88 mph with 2110+ avg. rpm. Flashed a slider for strikes at 74-76 mph, and a changeup with ASR and sink at 77-78 mph and 15.5 in of avg. HM.

Hit: RHH. Narrow, open setup, minimal leg lift, long and early stride. Hands get back early and are compact, level and longer path, creates leverage at times, occasional line drive contact. 64.7 mph bat speed with 7 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 84.6 mph. 330’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 82 mph. Long 3/4 slot, full arc.
Defense: Smooth, one-hand gather close to body, large hop-step into throw.
Run: 6.72 runner in the 60.

RHP Gavin O’Neil (Lake Park, 2025) A projectable 6-foot-3, 175-pound athletic frame, O’Neil impressed in his start Saturday morning against the Louisville Legends. The right-handed pitcher tossed five innings attacking hitters early in counts with a three-pitch mix. His fastball was sitting 84-86 mph with glove side run, the curveball was sitting 74-7 6mph, and the change-up was sitting 79-80 mph. The righty had a fluid, repeatable motion followed by clean and quick arm action. O’Neil was able to get a head in counts and work from there collecting easy outs.

Body: 6-2, 173-pounds. Wiry frame with athleticism.
Hit: RHH. Wide, open base, works back to even, short stride, repeats. Flat path, smooth/loose arms, looks to elevate up the middle of the field. 66.6 mph bat speed with 10 G’s of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 86.7 mph. 299’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 84 mph. Long, loose arm action. Low 3/4 release.
Defense: Plays with some bounce and comfortability on the move.
Run: 7.05 runner in the 60.
