RHP Jack Schiek (Lockport) is an upside arm to note from the event. Listed at 6-foot-3, 157-pounds, Schiek is uber-projectable with all sorts of room to fill out and add strength. The right-hander cruised in the 81-84 mph range with his fastball, displaying carry traits and high spin (T21.2 IVB; T2430 rpm). He was able to land his curveball for strikes more than half of the time, and it played around 69-72 mph.
Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-3, 157.6-pounds.
Delivery: Athletic/loose mover, medium leg-lift, gets momentum moving down the mound, in-line stride/finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm swing, 3/4 slot.
FB: T85, 82-84 mph. Shows carry through the zone. T2430, 2242 average rpm.
CB: 70-72 mph. 10/4 shape. T2068, 1956 average rpm.
Uncommitted. Started on the mound in the championship game of the DISW tournament and threw four no-hit innings, struck out five, walked four and allowed one unearned run, earning the win on the mound as the Porters took down Lyons by the score of 7-3.
Uncommitted. Schiek had an impressive performance at the plate and on the mound in their win over Alton. At the plate, he went 2-for-2 with two singles. And on the mound, he earned the win, struck out five, walked two and allowed two hits in three innings of work.
Had a strong relief appearance for the Porters, throwing three scoreless innings, allowing two hits, two walks, and striking out five. Schieck stands in at a lanky 6-foot-3, 160-pounds and is an easy mover downhill with a loose arm. His fastball sat 80-83 mph (T84) with some deception to it, and paired it with a big-breaking 11/5 curveball that created swing and miss.
RHP/INF Jack Schiek (Lockport, 2026) impressed on both sides of the ball on Monday, particularly on the mound. Listed at a lean and projectable 6-foot-2, 155-pounds, the right-hander has a balanced delivery with an athletic and clean operation, utilizing a full arm loop with some quickness out front. His fastball played in the 82-85 mph range with carry and over 2,300 rpm at times. He went to two different breaking balls, the first being a curveball at 68-71 mph with depth off an 11/5 plane, while the second was a tighter lateral slider at 71-72 mph, showing some feel for both offerings. Lastly, he went to a straight changeup at 76-78 mph, maintaining arm-speed throughout. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has a level bat path, creating extension through the zone while working line-drives up the middle with some natural life at times, utilizing his levers well. On the infield, Schiek has smooth hands with quality actions, reaching up to 82 mph across the diamond with a loose arm.

Body: 6-2, 155-pounds. High-waisted, long-levered, has room to fill out the frame.
Delivery: Medium leg lift into balance point with slight coil, tall and fall, athletic downhill, clean.
Arm Action: RH. Loose, full arm loop, quick, high 3/4 slot with whip out front.
FB: T85, 82-85 mph. Life through the zone, four-seam type. T2366, 2281 average rpm.
CB: 68-71 mph. Depth off an 11/5 plane, lands at times. T2009, 1973 average rpm.
