RHP/OF Jonah Sloane (St. Laurence, 2028) should be a name to follow moving forward. As of right now, his right-handed arm is one of his best traits which showed well on the mound, where he ran his fastball up to 79.2 mph while cruising in the upper-70s. He also showed some feel for a tight 11/5 curveball with some sharp action in the upper-60s, pairing with a changeup at 69-70 mph that he showed mature feel for with hard running action. There’s more in the tank for Sloane, as he boasts a fluid, athletic delivery with minimal effort and a clean/uninterrupted arm action. In the outfield, Sloane’s arm plays equally as well, topping at 80 mph with carry and accuracy.
