A high-waisted, wiry, 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame, Bansal put together a strong outing during Top Tiers Friday night cap. The right-handed arm tossed five innings of one-run ball, allowing only two hits and one walk, while striking out three. Working with a two-pitch mix, the fastball was sitting 79-81 mp,h and the curveball was sitting 67-70 mph. On the mound, it is a loose and clean delivery and arm action. The arm works long from a lower ¾ slot. Able to fill up the zone and induce weak contact. As Bansal continues to fill out his frame, he will be an intriguing one to keep an eye on. 

RHP Milan Bansal (Hinsdale Central, 2028) is a long-levered right-hander to keep tabs on moving forward. He stands in at 6-foot, 175-pounds, and he likely still has plenty more growing to do. On the mound, Bansal has a deliberate tempo while working in-line with the plate and balanced throughout. His arm is long and clean throughout its’ path, playing from a loose and easy ¾ window. His fastball played around 76-79 mph with straight four-seam action, and it projects as an even better pitch down the road as he refines its’ spin and shape. His slider looks to have the makings of a potential out-pitch in the future, showing short, downer action at 72-74 mph. His changeup is a quality third offering with arm-side run, thrown with intent at 75-76 mph.
