4.11.18 - Illinois Central JC commit. 6-foot, 190-pound, strong, durable, right-handed pitcher. Started on the mound and got the win for Normal U-High. Went six innings, scattered four hits, no runs, struck out three and walked four. Competed and battled throughout. Arm works short and out of an over-the-top slot. Primarily lived off a fastball/changeup combination. Fastball sat 81-84 mph, works straight, creates angle when down in the zone. Changeup was his go-to pitch. Maintains arm speed, good feel, works straight and got a number of swings and misses; sat 75-76 mph. Breaking ball was 76 mph.

3.14.18 - Illinois Central JC commit, 6-foot, 190-pound athletic, barrel chested right-handed hitting first baseman. At the plate, balanced setup, simple, short stride, quick bat, stays compact. Worked two deep counts, showing patience and feel for the zone. On the same token, showed selective aggressiveness slashing a single to the opposite field on a first pitch breaking ball. Finished 2-for-4 in the first game with two singles and two RBI. In the field, sure-handed, fluid actions, clean footwork, throws flashed carry in pre-game.

2.26.17 - 6-foot, 185-pound, two-way prospect with a strong frame. Offensively, right-handed hitter, pull approach, level path, some power potential. Exit velocity registered at 88 mph from a tee. Open setup with a short stride. Defensively, quick footwork, clean exchange. Long, quick arm action from an over the top angle. Throws flashed accuracy and carry, clocked at 84 mph across the diamond. 4.76 home to first runner. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, uptempo, opens early, some effort. Short arm action from an over the top angle, above average arm speed. Fastball, works mostly straight, sat 80-81 mph. Curveball, 12/6 shape, maintains arm speed, flashed sharp action, 64-68 mph. Changeup, firm, flashed arm side run, 75-78 mph.

8.16.16 - 5-foot-11, 180-pound, strong, two-way prospect. Offensively, right-handed hitter, simple, pull approach. Balanced setup, short stride and long, uphill bat path; 76 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, flashed a quick exchange on the infield. Arm works short, over-the-top to high ¾, accurate throws clocked at 78 mph across the diamond. 7.73 runner in the 60, laser-timed. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, same over-the-top short arm action as shown on the infield. Slow paced delivery and high effort throughout. Fastball, straight action clocked at 76-77 mph, touching 78 once. Curveball worked 11/5 with depth at times and sat 64-65 mph. Changeup thrown near fastball arm speed and ranged between 64-68 mph.
