Pignatiello presents an athletic 5-foot-11,150-pound frame; the left-handed bat showed a simple approach with a rhythm, looking to place balls gap to gap. Pignatiello finished the game 1-for-3 to help the victory over the Rawlings Tigers. Defensively, he has soft hands, the ability to throw from different arm angles, and awareness of internal clock. In the fourth inning, he showcased his range and footwork, making a difficult play in the six hole.
