CLASS OF 2026

Highly-projectable, high-upside arm with an athletic, 6-foot-4, 195 pound frame full of lean muscle. High-intent operation with long, deep arm action. Cuts his 86-88 T 89 mph FB. Effectively wild at times. Tunnels 75-77 mph SL that plays with occasional wipeout sweep. Flashed a CH. Uncomfortable look in total. Control over command for certain, but the strikes have trended in a gradual-positive fashion.

+ Clawed his way through 5 innings battling command issues throughout. Arm was live early at 86-88 T89 through first three innings before settling into 83-85 for his final two. SL at 77-79 had right profile and has the makings of a quality secondary but control was inconsitent. Was the clear put away pitch when executed, accounting for 5 K’s. Big, physical, 6-foot-4 body that still projects for more velo on the mound. Final Line: 5 IP, 6 K, 6 H, 1 BB, 3 ER.

CH: 82-84 mph. T2077, 2007 average rpm.

RHP Jackson Trueblood (Trinity Lutheran) is a high-upside sophomore that we have been monitoring for awhile. An athletic, projectable, 6-foot-3, 175 pounder with wiry strength, Trueblood shows cutting action on an 84-86 mph heater, and that number should improve as he learns to spin the ball more efficiently. The slider shows sweep at 70-74 mph, and he has made improvements with his 77-79 mph change since 2023 looks. There is late intent within the delivery, and there is whip in the arm action that releases from a 3/4 slot. Trueblood has made improvements in his overall command, with room for growth in that department and his overall ability to repeat his delivery, however the arm talent is obvious and he is another sophomore arm we will monitor throughout the year.

Trueblood is an exciting 2026 arm that is just scratching the surface of his big-time potential. A projectable, 6-foot-3, 165 pounder - Trueblood has a long, loose arm swing that creates whip at release when combined with his ability to create hip-to-shoulder separation in the delivery. There is some rawness in the overall operation that leads to some command issues, however the fastball has some electricity when it is in the zone and pairs well with his ability to spin two different breaking balls.

Hit: RHH. Wide setup. Hands work back in the load as he takes a small stride forward. Loose, upward swing plane. Tends to get disconnected and lacks direction at times.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 78.4 mph. 320' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-79 mph.Loose, quick arm from a H 3/4 slot - arm is his best tool
Defense: Average overall infield actions. Average footwork, sure hands, some twitch in the exchange.
Run: 7.64 runner in the 60.

Position Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 165-pounds. Projectable, athletic build
Delivery: Athletic delivery. Gets to a tall balance point and moves down the mound in a drop and drive fashion. Square landing, recoil type finish.
Arm Action: RH. Long, loose, and whippy arm from a H 3/4 slot - serious potential on the mound
FB: T86, 82-85 mph. FB has life w/ average overall command - has a chance to be a very good pitch T2378, 2330 average rpm.
CB: 65-68 mph. Sharp action - slurvey shape. T2339, 2204 average rpm.
CH: 75-78 mph. T1843, 1727 average rpm.
CUT: 80-81 mph. Short, tight

CB: 64-66 mph. 11/5, sproadic T2018, 1960 average rpm.

Jackson Trueblood, Trinity Lutheran, 2026, IN

Position: C/RHP

Body: 6-foot-1, 135-pound long projectable build.

Hit: (RHH) Projectable. Began in a tall stance with a small controlled load, then used a short stride. Developing bat speed. High finish, rotational upward swing. Gap to gap approach.

Power: 79.6 mph exit velocity, average 68.3 mph. 65.3 mph bat speed average. 20.8 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (IF) Sure hands, developing footwork, natural exchange. Capable.

Arm: 72 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot.

Pitching: Projectable. Feel delivery, easy effort. High ¾ arm angle, good arm speed, long loose arm action. In line shoulders, lands closed, upright finish.

FB: 72-75 T 75.9 mph. (Max spin 2043; Avg 1848). Some feel accuracy.

CB: 61-65 mph. Some tight action, 11/5 shape. (Max spin 2096; Avg 1989).
