Hit: (RHH) Solid. Begins in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a short stride. Quick bat speed. High finish, short swing. Line drive approach.

Power: 89 mph exit velocity, average 77.12 mph. 67.35 mph bat speed average. 19.92 mph hand speed average.

Defense: (C) 2.08-2.20 pop times. Soft hands, quick footwork, clean exchange. Solid. Some flexibility and calm quiet setup.

Arm: 76 mph infield velocity. 72 mph catcher velocity. Short arm action, an-over-the-top slot, consistent accuracy.

 

Speed: 8.03 (60-yard).

Luke Willmann: C/RHP, (2022) Wapahani, IN. 5-foot-11, 172-pound solid frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter s best exit velocity was 84 mph. Track Man Exit Velo 84.91. Begins in an open stance with a small load, then uses a toe tap before his swing. Had an uphill swing plane and had high finish. He Barreled up some balls during the round. While catching, he had a pop time of 2.15-2.26, he produced a position velocity of 70 mph during throw downs; had a clean exchange and Firm hands. Showed some flexibility. Showed an-over-the-top slot and Short swing arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.75.

Wapahani High School, Class of 2022; 5-foot-11, 172-pound C/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. Starts with his bat low out in front of his back shoulder and shows a small, smooth load. He gets off his back foot well using an upward swing plane. Behind the plate, his pop time was registered at 2.19; he recorded a position velocity of 72 mph during throw downs. Has a balanced and compact setup. Showed a short arm action and consistent feet. Pop time will get increasingly better in years to come. He recorded a time of 7.65 in the 60-yard dash. 

9/30/18: 2022 C with average 5’11 165 lbs frame hits from the right side. Tall and open set up in the box. Tends to get around the ball, rotational lower half. Gets extended well and shows some up hill tilt through extension. Behind the dish showed to be a good receiver, works hard and showed good ability.

7/24/18: 2022 catcher hits from the right side. Open setup in the box. Leg lift trigger and showed good feel for the barrel in BP and the games. Showed ability to drive the ball to deep parts of the field. Behind the dish showed to be a good receiver, works hard and showed good ability.
