6/26/18: 2023 C/3B who showed a nice hit tool at the event. Strong build frame for age. Hits from the right side, crouched setup in box, uses leg lift for trigger with hand load as well. Good rhythm in swing for age, timing is good with front foot off leg lift. Showed good bat speed for age, posted an exit velo of 79. Bat path is uphill and quick through the zone. Creates leverage in swing and uses lower half well. In the INF footwork was choppy and heavy. Throws were uphill across the diamond and arm strength was average at 63. Behind the dish showed average ability. Average receiver for age, on pops tended not to gain ground working through the baseball, swung body outside pitches and slung the baseball to 2nd on pops. Exchange was quick and arm strength behind the dish is average at 60.
