6/24/13: Proves to be the top unsigned senior catcher in the 2014 class.  Pop times consistently around a 2.0. Consistently puts up numbers at the plate in games. 

2/23/13: 5-foot-10, 199 pound junior runs a 7.20 60. Possesses a strong lower half.  Uses a short arm action and throws from a high ¾ arm slot with carry at 80 mph.  Showcases soft hands and quick feet.  Has a clean exchange and makes the routine plays.  At the plate uses a balanced set up and is slightly open in his stance.  Possesses good bat speed and gets to extension.  Behind the plate produced pop times between 2.01-208 with accurate throws on the bag.  
Giannini is a 5-foot-10 inch, 199 pound sophomore SS/OF with a strong build.  From the infield Giannini shows a good arm at 78 mph.  He shows the ability to field routine balls well along with a quick release.  At the plate Giannini shows a strong lower half with a wide base.  When getting his front foot down in time he gets to extension well with producing some pop.
