2/23/13: 6-foot-3, 183 pound junior runs a 6.76 60. In the OF uses a long arm action and throws over the top at 87 mph with carry. He shows athletic actions and plays through the ball. Moves well with quick, fluid feet and displays a clean exchange. At the plate hits from the left side using a balanced approach with a short stride. His swing path is level and gets to extension with the ability to drive the ball with pop. Showcased an exit velo of 85 mph.
Great pace in delivery, with hand movement throughout. Repeats the delivery with good timing. Arm angle is ¾ creating some late run at 83-84. Arm has whip. Good arm speed on off speed pitches. Breaking ball is still inconsistent, change up shows arm side run at 72-73. Haberkorn’s arm is quick and is a high follow as a positional player and as a pitcher.
