6/28/17 - Scott is a switch hitting outfield prospect  in Kansas’ 2017 class. Scott has a smaller, but still athletic, build at 5-foot-10 155 pounds. During batting practice, Scott showed solid contact from the left side despite closing himself off slightly with his stride and a simple stride, balanced load and solid contact up the middle from the right side. He ran a 7.35 60. From the right side Scott’s home to first time was 4.28 while being 4.14 from the left side.  In the outfield, Scott aggressively attacks the baseball, shows athletic actions, over the top arm angle with a positional velo of 86, mostly accurate throws with good momentum going towards his target and had an outfield assist in game action from moderate depth in CF.
2/21/16 - Scott is a 5-foot-10 150-pound switch-hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2017 class from Manhattan HS. He ran a 4.22 home to first and has an exit velo of 84 mph from both sides of the plate.  At the plate, athletic stance, higher leg kick from left side, in line stride, loose and level bat path from both sides, showed more power from right side, middle to pull line drives from both sides. In the outfield, 74 mph positional velo, loose over the top arm slot, plays behind the ball and through the catch, clean exchange with quick release.

6/2/15 - Edward is a 5'10 150-pound switch hitting outfielder from Manhattan. Is athletic and moves through the ball and fields it cleanly with quick exchange and accurate throws with top velo of 83 mph. Runs well posting a 7.26 60/yd and up the line home to first from the left side of 4.49. Hitting from both sides of the plate maintains balance with a good approach, slightly open stance with a short stride and easy quick swing and bat path and a exit velo of 80 mph. From the left side quick hands produced a double and triple and a stolen base during game action.

1/19/15 - Scott is a class of 2017 outfielder that attends Manhattan HS in Kansas. 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame. Switch-hitter. Left-handed showed an open set-up, early stride, hands work, back side in sync with hands, line drive path, finishes with extension,  worked middle, 75 exit velocity, ran a 4.58 home-to-first. Right-handed has a balanced set-up, short early stride, aggressive swing, lower half works, line drive approach, maintains balance, finishes with extension, simple. Recorded an 80 mph exit velocity. Attacks ball in the outfield, clean exchanges, high three-quarters arm action, some arm quickness, throws had carry, 81 mph throwing velocity. Athletic-framed outfield prospect that has made improvements physically and in all skill areas over the last several months.
10/19/14 - Scott is a thin, athletic 5-foot-6, 134-pound switch-hitting outfielder. From both sides of the plate starts with a wide base, open stance, strides inline, smooth hand load, loose hands, lower half in sync, maintains balance, extension through the ball, middle of the field approach. Right-handed exit velocity up to 76 mph. Scott’s swing works well from both sides, just needs time, size and strength. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash and 4.51 home-to-first. Collected one hit in the game and promptly stole second and third. Athletic footwork in the outfield, attacks the ball, long high three-quarters arm action, top throw clocked at 72 mph, mostly accurate throws.
6/18/14 - Scott is a 5-foot-6, 134-pound switch-hitting outfielder.  In the outfield he showed quick hands/feet and threw from a high three-quarters slot.  His throws had carry to them in the pre-game workouts and in the games - his top throw was clocked at 79 mph.  At the plate, from the right side he starts with a wide base and slightly open stance and strides inline.  Scott takes a very aggressive, slightly uphill swing and maintains balance in doing so.  From the left side he starts with a wide base and open stance.  He strides inline and takes a similarly aggressive swing as he does right-handed.  His lower half has some explosiveness and is in sync with his upper half.  His top exit velocity was clocked at 72 mph.  He ran a 4.70 home-to-1B from the right side.  He’s a skill guy with a wiry, athletic frame that is nowhere close to being done physically.
