The 6-foot-5, 205-pound athlete offers plenty of room to add strength and is one of the most projectable names in the class. Sims showed a simple, right-handed swing that consistently delivered barrels to the pull side, posting a 97.7 mph peak exit velocity, and defensively, he recorded an 83 mph outfield velocity.

Continuing to emerge as a name to follow in the ‘27 class, OF/1B Everett Sims (Shawnee Mission South, 2027) looked the part on both sides of the ball from Sunday’s event. Easily one of the most physical players in the class at 6-foot-4, 211-pounds, Sims possesses big power potential at the plate, effortlessly reaching exit velocities in the mid-to-upper-90s with an impressive average of 88.3 mph. He barrelled his best ball 97.5 mph, sending it 329 feet - the top mark on the day. The sophomore also reached 85 mph from the outfield on his firmest throw. As he continues to show that he can produce against high level competition, Sims is a name to have on the radar.
