6/19/18 - Dotterer is a 5-foot-8, 137-pound right-handed pitcher and middle infielder in Kansas’ 2021 class from St. Thomas Aquinas HS. He ran a 5.22 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 70 mph. During batting practice, Dotterer has a balanced set up, toe tap load, quiet hands, showed contact to the middle of the field. Defensively, Dotterer showed range, clean transfers, high ¾ arm slot, positional velo of 68 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Dotterer has a compact delivery, over the top arm slot, gains momentum down the mound, fastball is 66-68 mph for strikes, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 56-60 mph, changeup is 58-61 mph.

7/5/17 - Dotterer is a 5-foot-5 113-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 8.69 60 and has a 66 mph exit velo. At the plate, balanced set up, smooth rhythm in load, reverse toe tap, in line stride, gap to gap contact during batting practice, body stays under control.  On the infield, 68 mph positional velo, over the top release, momentum after catch, fluid footwork to the ball, feet and hands on time during transfer, mostly accurate throws.
