He ran a 5.22 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 70 mph. During batting practice, Dotterer has a balanced set up, toe tap load, quiet hands, showed contact to the middle of the field. Defensively, Dotterer showed range, clean transfers, high ¾ arm slot, positional velo of 68 mph, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Dotterer has a compact delivery, over the top arm slot, gains momentum down the mound, fastball is 66-68 mph for strikes, curveball has 11-to-5 shape, 56-60 mph, changeup is 58-61 mph.
