5/29/14 - St. Thomas Aquinas sophomore right-hander impressed once again at the 5A state tournament on Thursday.  The 6-foot-3, 180-pound very athletic Pint throws with excellent body control and natural, effortless arm action from a three-quarters slot.  His fastball was clocked in the 91-95 mph range most with late arm-side run.  Pint also showed some late cut on his glove side fastball in on left-handers, away from right-handers.  He also flashed a 78-82 breaking ball with late action to it and a sinking 78-79 change-up – both plus pitches.  Pint was named to the KABC 5A All-State First Team this spring for his efforts in helping lead Aquinas to the Eastern Kansas League title and 5A state championship.  He is national-level prospect and major colleges will be flocking to the Sunflower state this summer to see the young phenom.
