Player Spotlight 

Aaron Pryce: 1B/LHP, (2024) Salem, MI. 5-foot-11, 175-pound. Athletic during batting practice, Pryce had a max exit velocity of 78 mph. (62.32 mph bat speed average). (18.83 mph hand speed average). Starts in a tall stance with a compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Has some bat speed, loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with a lot of loud contact. Line drive approach. Capable while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 76 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Glovework is shown deep Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.6. On the mound, had some arm speed and threw from a high ¾ arm angle. Shows decent effort in his delivery. Has a consistent balance point and even shoulders. Produced a fastball that came in at 74-75 mph; showed control low in the zone and sinking action. (Max spin 1896; Avg 1776). His 1/7 curveball (64-65) has tight action. (Max spin 1464; Avg 1446). Shows fading action and arm side command on his changeup (69-70).

Hit: (LHH) Athletic. Started in a tall stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Some bat speed. Good extension on his finish, loose swing. Line drive approach. 

Power: 78 mph exit velocity, average 72.59 mph. 62.32 mph bat speed average. 18.83 mph hand speed average.

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, natural exchange. Capable. Glovework is shown deep 

Arm: 76 mph infield velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot. 

Speed: 7.60 (60-yard).

Pitching:  Decent effort. high ¾ arm angle, some arm speed. Consistent balance point, even shoulders.

FB: T75. 74-75 mph. (Max spin 1896;  Avg 1776). Low in the zone accuracy, sinking action.

Aaron Pryce: 1B/LHP, (2024) Salem, MI. 5-foot-9, 160-pound. At the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a controlled load, then used a controlled stride to initiate his swing. Bat speed was some, showed simple swing plane and low finish. Created some loud contact and found some barrels. Pull side approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 69 mph; shows a clean exchange, choppy consistent feet and sure firm hands. Had a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 8.05. On the mound, where he showed good arm speed, he had a ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. He has even shoulders and low balance point. Lands square with a clean finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-72 mph with a max of 73 mph; showed cutting action and consistent command. Throws a 2/8 curveball (58-60) that has command around the zone and sweeping action.

Aaron Pryce: LHP/1B, (2024) Salem, MI. 5-foot-9, 160-pound. In the box, Pryce clocked an exit velocity of 85 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.94. On the mound, threw his fastball 67-70 mph and topped out at 71 mph. Curveball (56-59 mph).


Aaron Pryce: LHP/1B, (2024) Salem, MI. 5-foot-8, 160-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitters best exit velocity was 87 mph. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 61 mph. Recorded a time of 7.84 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 66-68 mph with a max of 73 mph. Curveball (58-59 mph), changeup (56-57 mph).

Pitching: On the mound works quick in the motion working low in the zone. Curveball breaks slightly, spotting well low. Short 3/4 arm action. 

Hitting: At the plate a left hand hitter has an easy stroke at the plate. Produced several line drives and worked the pull side. Ball jumped off his bat.
