9/29/13 At this point it is well documented that Garbarino has made a big jump this summer.  Threw the ball extraordinarily well.  1.87 pop time at its best but ranged between 1.87-1.95.  Quick feet and transfer allow him to make accurate quick throws on the bag. Physically built at 5-foot-11, 195-pounds.  Pop is starting to come in the bat.  Sit and spin hitter.  Compact swing.

8/30/13 Garbarino is simply not the same player that he was earlier in the summer. Vastly improved.  One of the best catchers in the Class of 2015.  Pure catch and throw.  Accurate arm with ball on the bag. 1.89-1.97 pop times.  At the plate showed one of his best rounds.  Good lower half. Fast hands.  Drove the ball. Stock is rising.

6/18/13 Strong physically built 5-foot-11, 195-pound sophomore.  Strong arm behind the plate- 74 mph from the crouch.  2.03-2.19 pop times in the showcase portion. Nose for the baseball behind the plate with fearless actions. Balanced at the plate with short compact swing.  Got to extension well. Definite follow.
2/913 Garbarino was the top performer at the catcher position at the Underclass Preview.  Garbarino is a 5-foot-11, 195-pound Class of 2015 catcher.  Garbarino is put together extremely well and has a strong lower half. His defense is a advanced for his class and is his big separator. He threw consistent 1.94-1.97 pop times with accuracy on the bag.  Behind the plate he moves well and shows strong consistent hands.  His feet were exceptional moving quickly and effortlessly. At the plate Garbarino provides plenty of pop. His strength allows him to drive the baseball with authority.  Lastly Garbarino runs well for a catcher at 7.22.
