Scoles tossed a one-hit shutout, striking out six in a 5-0 win.

6-foot-2, 193 pound pitching prospect with a good physical build. On the mound pushes off with his back leg as he starts to stride, showing good balance. Has a long arm throwing out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball was 80-82 MPH with some sink. Curveball was 69-70 MPH with 10/4 action and changeup was 75-76 MPH.

6-foot, 160 pound two way prospect has a solid frame, where you would not be able to tell he's a 2020 prospect. Behind the plate receives the ball out front throwing with a long arm action. Displays good blocking skills keeping the ball in front of him. In the field has an aggressive approach and good glove work. At the plates uses a slight open stance with a knee bend. Bouncing the bat off his shoulder works in rhythm making solid contact. Switches between a top hand release and two hand finish. On the mound uses a clean motion with a long stride pushing off the mound well throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 77-78 mph with a sinking action. 10/4 breaking curve with depth 65-66 mph and a straight change up 70-71 mph.

Scoles is 6-foot, 160 pound 2020 RHP who has a strong bloodline in baseball shows very good upside and potential. Has a clean motion, using a high leg kick throwing over the top. Has a long arm, hiding the ball well from the hitter. Fastball sat 74-76 mph with good control. Sharp breaking 10/4 angle curve has the makings of a swing and miss pitch 62-63 mph.

Scoles has a 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame. His fastball sat 75-77 mph and he had a loose arm action with quick arm speed. He showed an advanced feel for his age for a curveball and a changeup. At the plate steps towards the plate using a smooth load and level cut . Has minor hand movement prior to swinging, showed nice power. Hit a HR during BP. 80 mph exit velocity. 5-foot-10, 140 pound prospect is the younger brother of 2016 #14 player Caleb Scoles. The younger Scoles has a nice pitcher frame with a live arm. Ball jumps out of his hand. Throws over the top powering the ball downhill 69-73 mph, 62-65 mph 11/5 late breaking curveball, deceptive sinking change up 65-68 mph. Showed a good feel behind the plate. Popped a 2.22 - 2.31 to 2B. Good hitter that makes hard contact in the box.
