Another major winner from this year’s summer circuit, now ranked at 22nd overall in the class: C/3B Crew Norden (Rock Bridge, 2025). Norden’s ascent started in Columbia at our Underclass Games, where he used the inherent strength attached to a physical 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame to produce some of the hardest exit velocities we saw all summer. Nordan averaged 92.9 mph and 278 ft. per batted ball, reaching peaks of 96.3 mph and 357 feet, respectively. He found the sweet spot 100% of the time, per TrackMan, and did not hit a single ball on the ground throughout BP either. Norden’s sheer strength translated to multiple impressive looks at Creekside throughout our tournament circuit, as we saw that middle-of-the-order strength seamlessly translate into gameplay. He’s one of the most physical right-handed bats in this class and is still uncommitted.
7/11/22
Super physical 5-foot-11, 190-pound frame. Was one of the top performers in the 15U bracket for a team that lost in the semi-finals. True middle-of-the-order type bat with feel to hit; comfortably thumped several balls to the pull-side this weekend. Took arguably the loudest BP round on the Missouri summer circuit, averaging 92.9 mph off the barrel with a peak exit velocity of 96.3 mph at the Top Prospect Underclass Games. An arrow-up prospect in the state’s incoming sophomore class.

Body: 5-11, 190-pounds. Hit: Balanced base, slightly crouched stance. Subtle load into back hip. Short stride. Above average bat speed. Long, uphill bat path. Power to all fields. Swings with intent to do damage. Strength and balance throughout. Power: 96.3 max exit velocity, averaged 92.9 mph. Arm: C - 70 mph. INF - 79 mph. INF: Long arm action, high 3/4 slot. Some length to release. C: Long arm action, high 3/4 slot. Defense: 2.04-2.16 pop times. INF: Sure-handed. C: Steady hands. Run: 7.14 runner in the 60.

The bat strength nestled inside C Crew Norden's (Rock Bridge, 2025) right-handed barrel was on complete display in Columbia this June. Physically built at 5-foot-11, 190-pounds, Norden averaged 92.9 mph off the barrel in BP, reaching a 96.3 mph peak - both of which were amongst the highest marks we saw from incoming sophomores this summer. Norden’s ability to make loud elevated contact is evident, as he averaged 277 feet per batted ball, launching his furthest ball 357 feet, per TrackMan. He recorded an 85% hard-hit rate (batted balls over 95 mph) with a 100% sweet-spot mark, too.
