1B/RHP Dawson Edwards (Lee’s Summit West, 2026) is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound athlete that is as strong and as physical as they come. His strength showed on both sides of the ball on Saturday. At the plate, Edwards used an aggressive swing to produce the top exit velocity of the day at 103.7 mph. Edwards’ strength carried over to the infield where he also led the event with his infield velocity of 88 mph from first base. Additionally, he hopped on the mound and topped out at 85 mph with a changeup/slider mix to pair.
