RHP Trent Gallagher (Knob Noster, 2025) showed arguably the day’s loudest stuff on the mound. A lanky 5-foot-11, 140-pound athlete with wiry strength and lean levers, Gallagher recorded the day’s firmest fastball, topping at 85.7 mph. He pitched at 84-85 mph with his heater, spinning it at 2500+ RPM and averaging 19.2 inches of vertical carry from a tighter arm window. Gallagher ripped off his breaking ball with conviction and intent, also spinning it at 2500+ RPM in the 67-71 mph velocity band. He slightly decelerated his arm speed when throwing his 73-75 mph changeup, yet it flashed effectiveness to the arm-side of the plate when spotted down. Gallagher’s live stuff and physical projection have him on the rise in Missouri’s 2025 class.

FB: T86, 84-86 mph. Jumps out the hand with life (19.2 IVB avg.) and natural raw spin (2500+ RPM avg). Plays straight with minimal horizontal action. T2597, 2537 average rpm.
CB: 67-71 mph. 11/5 shape with depth. Flashed feel to spin for strikes. T2538, 2437 average rpm.
CH: 73-74 mph. Maintains arm speed and intent, thrown from a slightly lower arm slot on average. Played straight, did flash arm-side run on occasion. T2020, 1932 average rpm.

Leg lift stride with good rhythm and balance. Lower half works rotationally into a firm front leg. Slight uphill bat path with a strong top hand finish. Works the hands to the inside part of the ball well and uses a middle to oppo approach. Line drive approach. Developing bat speed and hand strength.
Power: 76.25 max exit velocity, averaged 62.41 mph. 245’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 72 mph. 3/4 arm slot with a loose arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with direct routes and active feet. Fields the ball out in front of the body with developing glove action and a firm glove. Shows good lateral range and clean exchanges.
Run: 8.03 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Rocker style footwork with glove working above the head and an easy pivot turn. Hands work down to the belt with hand break taking place at the mid chest. Strong weight stack onto the back leg with a drop and drive motion down the mound with short push off the rubber. Works from the middle of the rubber and strides slightly closed creating interesting angles to the hitters.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action.
