Starts in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a toe tap to start his swing. Has upward swing plane and good extension on his finish and finds plenty of gaps. Behind the plate, he displayed his ability to control the run game with a pop time of 2.06 - 2.09 with a very strong arm (84 mph). Runs very well for a catcher with a showcase best 6.5 60 time.
