Body: 5-foot-11, 165 pounds. Athletic, proportionate build. Broad shoulder that will allow for additional strength and size down the road.
Delivery: Starts in a spread, athletic stance in the middle of the rubber. Smooth, rhythmic delivery with a toe tap hesitation. Coiled, high peaking leg kick. Tall/tilt type. Strides slightly across body. Balanced finish with tendency of falling towards 3B side. Controlled throughout with consistent, easy tempo. Low effort.
Arm Action: Smooth, clean arm action. Quick, loose arm cycle from a 3/4 to high 3/4 arm slot. Throws slightly across body producing natural arm side action.
FB: Max 77 mph. Sat 73-75 mph. Avg. Spin Rate - 1902 RPM. Produces some arm side action with flashes of sink as well. Located well during his outing.
CB: 62-64 mph. Avg. Spin Rate - 2295 RPM. 1/7 shape with some sweeping action. Located down in the zone.

Defense: OF. Projects as a corner OF. Showed comfort coming through the ball. Got around the ball well to get in line with his target, but did tend to field the ball outside of his body. Quality footwork throughout fielding process with a midsection exchange into a clean, on line throw.
Arm: LH. 80 mph. High 3/4 arm slot. Accurate with carry on his throws. Understands he has natural run on the ball and makes the adjustment to delivery an on target throw.
Hit: LHH. Active, athletic set up. Rapid pre pitch rhythm with a high back elbow. Maintains his weight mostly in the center of his body throughout his swing. Hands push back into a slight arm bar. Rotational type swing with an efficient hand path into the zone. Flashes power potential to the pull side. Quality balance throughout his swing.

Run: 7.14 Laser Timed 60
Sturdy, 5-foot-10 165, Branham maintains reliable outfield actions. His rhythm and footwork are that of a natural outfielder, placing him in a good position to throw with an efficient exchange. He throws from a ¾ slot providing a touch of run that he compensates nicely for. His throws maintained a low trajectory and were on target often utilizing a long hop. In the box, he starts from a narrow open stance, using a leg kick trigger, striding closed. He displays a backside approach with a lofted swing path that provides carry when ball strike is square.
Branham throws from a ¾ slot with consistent arm side run to his fastball, 71-73. He maintains a slight cross to his delivery with some wrap to his arm action. He demonstrates a feel for breaking ball spin but off speed is lite. He has a serviceable third pitch in his changeup, 64-70. Presently a soft lefty, strength and weight gains may result in improved velocity and provide a higher ceiling.
