Crouched, open stance with a slight bend in the knees as the hands started with moderate rhythm on the shoulder. Utilized a lift and replace stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Got to the front side on occasion but kept the barrel through extension regardless allowing for line drive contact through the middle of the field during batting practice. Hit into a stiff front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 70 mph per Trackman Baseball. Defensively: The primary third baseman featured long movements to the baseball with a medium center of gravity on the approach, fielded off of the middle of his body with minimal momentum towards the target, stiff glove hand, and accurate high ¾ slot on throws across the diamond.
