5-foot-11, 170 with a lean strong frame, athletic appearance. Clean actions defensively, gets around the ball, active with lower half, multi-arm-slots, next-level defender, Carry on arm-strength at 79 mph.

Athletic body build with room to gain more weight as he matures. 76 mph arm strength across the diamond, he uses quick clean fielding actions. Balanced body control. In the box he uses a wide stance, consistent hard contact from a fluid barrel path through the zone. Finishes with full extension. 87 mph exit velocity off a tee. 
Preseason - East (February 22, 2018)
Athletic 5-foot-10 170 infielder who ran an improved 4.30 home-to-1B. Offensively- Balanced setup with deep knee bend; hands work back calmly with a slight heel lift stride. Stays behind the ball with a foul line-to-foul line approach. Exit velocity improved to 83 MPH. Defensively- Extremely active defender; fast twitch actions. Opens up to create angles that allow him to work into and through the ball and his throws. Hnads work out in front with some funneling. Traditional infielder's arm swing with throws from multiple angles. Arm strength up 2 MPH from past events to 78 MPH. 
Eastern NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2017)
Giblin is a 5-foot-10 170-pound 3B. Offensively – Giblin has a balanced stance, knees bent, and feet slightly past shoulder width apart. His hands begin high with elbow bend prior to starting load. Giblin has a quiet stride to the ball, transfers his weight to backside, and keeps his swing path in the zone. Giblin makes solid contact with an exit velocity of 80 MPH and finishes mid to high with on his follow through. Defensively – Giblin gets low to the ground with his knees bent and developing footwork to center himself over the ball; slightly on his heels but has a smooth glove technique when receiving and gathering the ball to release across the field. Giblin has an arm velocity of 76 MPH from his position and releases at a low to mid ¾ arm slot.
Academic Games (June 3, 2017)

5-foot-9, 160 solid frame registered a home to first time of 4.51. Offensively - Consistently barreled up with an exit velocity of 80 MPH, short to the ball, good balance. Comfortable turning on inside pitch; uses middle third of the field. Defensively - Developing footwork to create momentum to first base, smooth transition from glove to throwing hand with an infield velocity of 76 MPH, needs shorter arm action to get the ball across the diamond in a hurry.
