Comments

7/26/23

Physical: Strong, tooled-up 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame. 7.30 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Hinged, even stance that stacks the backside early with high hands. Utilized a violent knee-knock stride to initiate his swing through an uphill path towards a whippy finish. Recorded a T92MPH EV during a mostly pull-side approach for a 345FT batted ball distance. Worked on a line-drive plane at a 31% clip, able to slot in the middle of a collegiate order.

Defensively: Wider lower-half with a hop in the prep-step; glove-tap for timing and breaks off the stem towards the target. Centered the ball with a clean exchange and delivered an accurate 81MPH throwing arm across the INF (H ¾).

2/20/23

Physical: 6-foot-2, 200 pounds; Long, slight build. 7.43 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Lifts hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a downward swing path with a two handed finish.  More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. Showed consistent power to the pull side gap.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 70 MPH.
