Physical 5-foot-10 190 pound catcher from Fairport HS. Offensively- Even setup with weight pre-loaded; lifts barrel from flat to elevated for timing along with a quiet toe-tap. Quick hands into the zone; compact stroke with extension post contact. Showed the ability to stay on the line through the middle but yet turn middle in. Exit Velocity was 80 MPH. Defensively- One of the front line backstops in the state with his pop time range of 1.96-2.08 and arm velocity peaked at 74 MPH. Throws stay on a line out of the hand and are on the bag.
Rochester (August 9, 2017)
Athletic catcher at 5-foot-10 185 pounds who hits from the right side. Offensively- Explosive through the zone, peppering the gaps. Strong lower half feeds into bat speed. Exit velocity peaked at 87 MPH. Defensively- Flashed some above average arm strength today at 78 MPH. Around the bag results with a pop time ranging 1.98-2.01.

Offensively - Balanced swing with an exit velocity of 80 MPH, efficient load, makes him short to the ball and consistent line drive hitter with some power, consistently barrels up with gap power. Hit a homerun over the extended fence in LF during the scrimmage. Middle of the lineup type projection. Defensively- Registered pop time ranging from 1.96-2.00. Accurate arm with on the bag throws, quick, consistent release to second, gets good carry, blocks well, squares up the ball, quick feet, when he gets bigger and stronger he will improve.
