Andrew Rust: RHP/2B, (2022) Dublin Coffman, OH. 6-foot-2, 200-pound. On the mound, produced a fastball that came in at 82-84 mph with a max of 84 mph. Given the size, athleticism displayed you could easily see another jump left in there. Curveball was a quality offering showing present swing/miss (70-72 mph). Filled up the zone/stuff carries to the next level.
Andrew Rust: 2B/RHP, (2022) Dublin Coffman, OH. 6-foot-2, 195-pound solid frame. Athletic at the plate, the right-handed hitter's 96 mph exit velocity ranks him 1st at the event. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed is explosive and shows a level swing plane. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 81 mph; had athletic footwork, consistent hands, and a natural exchange. Athletic on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a compact arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. Curveball (65-66 mph), changeup (71-73 mph), slider (68-69 mph).Threw his fastball 82-84 mph.

6-foot-2, 195-pound. Projectable on the mound, used a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Feel type pitcher who shows some effort. Curveball (66-70 mph), changeup (72-75 mph).Sat with his fastball at 82-84 mph.
Scouting Notes: Upside arm on the mound. 6-foot-3 with a clean arm. Showed feel for his arsenal. Moved the fastball around the zone and can get the breaking ball over for strikes or bury it as a chase offering.

Hit:6-foot-3, physical bat. Smooth load that creates both energy and balance. Doesn't get cheated up there and has the tools to do damage when he squares up the baseball. Solid round.

Field:Rangy defender with fluidity to actions. Frame/skill set allow for multiple positions. Solid showing.
Throw:Clean arm with more strength to come.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Goes with a smooth double tap for timing as hands flow back to launch. Slightly downhill path with an all fields approach. Much more physical since we saw him last.
Power: Flashed gap abilities.

Delivery Notes: Projectable framed-righty with a loose, quick arm. Got much more physical since we saw him last and ball jumps out of hand with more life. One to follow as he keeps progressing.
Fastball: Mostly true through the zone. Used both sides of the plate. 78-82 mph through most of the outing.
Fastball Spin Rates: 1800-2000.
Curveball: 70-72 mph. 11/5 shape with good depth.

Changeup: Playable offering. Maintains arm speed. Pitch has some depth to it. 72-73 mph.
