Anthony Barnes: 3B/RHP, (2023) Clay, OH. 5-foot-11, 190-pound. Solid at the plate, Barnes recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. (60.26 mph bat speed average). (18.21 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a toe tap. Bat speed was above average, showed a level swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels during his round. Line drive approach. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.34. Solid on the mound, used a long arm action with a ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses easy effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Curveball (67-70 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 81-84 mph. (Max spin 2035; Avg 1860).
