2/23/20 Position Player Hit: Right handed hitter. Starts in an athletic, open stance in the box. Simple loading sequence, in which he utilizes a knee to knee leg kick for timing purposes. Slightly uphill bat path through the zone with present bat speed, as he was able to generate backspin to the gaps on several occasions. Power: 90 mph tee ev. Easy gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup/ run producer traits. Field: Worked out as an OF. Solid actions in the field, as he remains calm when approaching the batted ball with solid footwork and soft hands. Somewhat raw, but will continue to progress as he continues developing. Throw: 79 mph arm from the outfield. Arm strength will continue to develop as he physically matures. Defensive Projection: Corner OF
2/23/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Left handed pitcher. Fluid delivery with repeatable mechanics. Was able to hide the ball well, displaying good arm action from a slightly low ¾ arm slot. Fastball: 75-77mph. Fastball displays arm side run. Velocity continues to increase and will rise as he continues to develop physically. Curveball: 64-65mph. Slurvish shape with signs of sharpness. Changeup: 67-68mph. Was able to maintain arm speed and displayed regular arm side fade and sink.
2/17/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot, 140 pound thin, projectable frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Delivery was smooth and repeatable. Little load of the lower half, but showed a clean arm action with a low ¾ arm action.
Fastball: 70-72 mph. Showed plenty of arm side run with plus command.
Curveball: 60-61 mph. Slidderish in shape. Tight spin with late break.
Changeup: 63-65 mph. Above average offering. Showed consistent arm side run and sink.
Pitchability: Strike thrower that showed the ability to command secondary offerings at any time. Changeup is ahead of the breaking ball right, but breaking ball can develop into above average offering as well.
2/17/19
Swing Mechanics: Balanced, open stance from this lefty in the box. Shorter loading process prior to swinging with his slightly uphill path. Lower half activated well in his swing too.
Hit: Stayed on many pitches well for hard contact. Louder action shown on pitches he drove through the middle of the field.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity. Strength and greater potential to come.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Run: 7.36 mph exit velocity. Field: Glovework was clean as he fielded the baseball in the outfield. Footwork was nice for this ‘22 as he works around the baseball well prior to attacking it.
Throw: 77 mph from the outfield. Arm strength visible. Defensive Projection: Outfield.
7/10/18 Good athlete with fluid actions on the bump. Works exclusively from the stretch which aids him in repeating his delivery. Long/clean arm action projecting for more strength with physical maturity. Tosses an easy 75-77 mph fastball that works on a downhill plane. Will change eye levels and use both sides of the plate with the pitch. Compliments fastball with a 1/7 shaped breaker and a knuckleball. Throws both with confidence and feel. Two-way prospect. A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Uses a slight back load with hands during short stride for timing, balanced launch with a downhill path to contact. Swing has noticeable quickness through the zone with some strength through. Impressive feel for the barrel, finding it often in BP. A corner infielder with fluid actions. Plays through the baseball with above average ball skills. Arm plays on the left side. 60-yard dash: 7.68 Outfield Velocity: 69 Exit Velocity: 77
3/4/18 Swings it from the right side of the plate starting in taller, open setup. Goes with a leg kick for timing while showing a slight back load with hands. Loading sequence creates balance and separation at foot strike. Launches the barrel through the zone with some whip and good direction. Displayed impressive strength to hands at contact. Middle of the lineup type bat. A first baseman that plays with fluidity off the bag. Ball skills and athleticism are above average for the spot. Looks comfortable over there. Solid defender. 60-yard dash: 7.76 Infield Velocity: 65 Exit Velocity: 83
3/19/17 In the outfield he is mechanically sound and showed feel for the position. Plays through the ball well and maintains momentum into his throws. Throws were on target with some carry. At the plate he starts in a balanced setup prior to his leg lift load. Hands stay simple prior to launch. Swing is compact on a slightly uphill path. Consistently produced line drives to the middle of the field in batting practice, creating backspin to the opposite field gap. 60-yard dash: 8.32 Outfield Velocity: 61 Exit Velocity: 64
