Bat speed is developing, displays a short simple swing plane and balanced finish. Pull side approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 81 mph. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.63.

Kane Stephey: SS/RHP, (2026) Newark Catholic, OH. 5-foot-10, 145-pound slim lanky build. (59.5 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Started in a balanced athletic stance with a rhythmic controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick efficient, exhibits a short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph; has next level hands, consistent feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a short very quick arm action and athletic slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.37. Smooth advanced on the mound, showed a clean arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick good arm speed Tilt-and-topple type pitcher and shows some effort. Tall balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with recoil finish. (Max spin 2379; Avg 2283).

(17.9 mph hand speed average). Sets up in a wide balanced stance with a small leg kick. Had a simple level swing plane and average bat speed. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 74 mph; shows average feet, a clean lengthy exchange, and sure hands. Movements laterally were average. Showed a quick arm action and a ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.44 at the event. On the mound, has an compact loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Up-tempo drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Changeup (65-66 mph). Produced a fastball that came in at 75-77 mph. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 2310; Avg 2217). Tight 11/5 curveball (63-65). (Max spin 2249; Avg 2186).
