Begins in a balanced quiet stance with a controlled load, then uses a quick stride. Bat speed is quick, shows a simple upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 85 mph; shows consistent feet, sure hands, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. On the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a clean arm action with some arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1928; Avg 1882). Threw a 1/7 curveball with gradual action. (Max spin 2180; Avg 2078). Throws a 2/8 slider that has late action. (Max spin 2109; Avg 2050).
